High school internships available

For students who are residents of the European Union, four-week internships are available as part of your high school study requirements. Requirements for eligibility vary by country, but in general, students must be at least in their first year of high school and have reliable transportation to and from work. Only online applications will be accepted.

For residents of the European Union, we offer challenging opportunities for high-school graduates wanting to study at the University of Cooperative Education. Opportunities for an apprenticeship are available in the following fields:

  • Process Mechanic  (m/f/x)
  • Mechatronics Technician (m/f/x)
  • Industrial Mechanics (m/f/x)
  • Electronics Technician (m/f/x)

The ability to work in a team is just as important as the motivation to learn. We are looking for trainees with an above-average level of commitment, who are willing to rotate to numerous positions throughout their apprenticeship.

Dual Studies

Similar programs exist in the EU for EU residents interested in pursuing a Dual Studies degree. Length of study and timing of rotations vary by school and program. Consider completing your dual study at Kautex in one of the following fields:

How to apply

The best prospects for success are for those who apply two to six months prior to the start of the internship. Your documents should include a cover letter with your topics of interest, a curriculum vita, and your school reports (school completion certificate, pre-degree certificate, internship certificates, and performance record).
