Kautex earns Platinum rating from EcoVadis
Kautex is awarded the Ecovadis Platinum Medal. EcoVadis evaluates companies based on their performance in four key categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. We achieved the bronze medal last year and are now moving up three steps on the podium - this rating reflects the improvements achieved across the assessed categories compared to the previous year. According to the EcoVadis assessment results received by Kautex, the company ranked among the top 1% of assessed companies under the applicable EcoVadis rating methodology.
EcoVadis is the world's largest provider of sustainability ratings and evaluates more than 130,000 companies from over 180 countries.

In our assessment this year, we improved in all four categories, with the biggest improvement being in sustainable sourcing. This shows the work we are doing to work with our suppliers on measurable improvements in environmental, human rights, ethics and procurement performance.
Sophie Louis, Director of Energy and Sustainability, said: “This was truly a pleasant surprise and the result of a great cross-functional effort over many weeks between HR, Legal, EHS and the Sustainability team.”
We are of course happy about this achievement, but we also know that our planet can only get better if we get better ourselves. We will continue implementing measures in the areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement and monitor our progress through future EcoVadis assessments.
